The Callicott Insurance
Agency, Inc., established in 1915, is believed to be the oldest
family owned and operated business in Senatobia, MS. The agency has had four generations of continuous family ownership beginning with
William Griffin Callicott more than 93 years ago. Today the agency is owned and
managed by Alan Callicott,
the great-grandson of the founder.
Key Employees
Alan
Callicott, principal agent, graduated from Mississippi State
University in 1986 with a degree in Finance and has 25 years insurance
experience. He currently holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC)
designation, and is a member of the National Society of Certified
Insurance Counselors, which is the nation’s largest provider of
professional insurance education. Alan has served as President of the
North Central Mississippi Insurance Association and on various
committees with the Independent
Insurance Agents of Mississippi.
Robin Mackey, agent and CSR, began her career in the insurance
business in 1985. She has been an independent agent since 1991. Robin
holds the CIC, CISR, and ACSR designations and is a member of the
National Society of Certified Insurance Counselors, which is the
nation’s largest provider of professional insurance education. She is
licensed in both Mississippi and Tennessee.
